The A.G. Russell SeaMaster 2.0 is an updated reintroduction of a knife that’s sure to please anyone who takes to the water. A.G. Russell’s original Sailor’s Knife was introduced in 1990, but it was discontinued in 2008. The new SeaMaster 2.0 is currently being manufactured in Maniago, Italy. Featuring a 3 ¼-inch flat ground blade made of Böhler M390 stainless steel at 60-62 Rc, the SeaMaster 2.0 is the same size as its predecessor. It also has a 2 ¾-inch slightly curved marlin spike made of 303 stainless steel at 55-57 Rc. The spike can be invaluable for untying stubborn knots and splicing line.

A.G. Russell SeaMaster 2.0 Features Serrated Edge

The SeaMmaster 2.0 has a partially serrated edge with the serrations out at the front half of the blade where they belong. This blade will excel at cutting rope and is protected with a durable PVD coating. The lightweight blue anodized titanium handle features carbon fiber inlays and measures 4 1/8-inches. The handle incorporates two frame locks with stainless steel inserts, one for the blade and the other for the spike. An elongated hole in the blade together with bronze washers in the pivot provide for smooth one-handed opening. There is no pocket clip but an opening at the end of the handle can accommodate a lanyard. MSRP is $345.
