GiantMouse is releasing two new versions of their popular GMF2 fixed-blade knife. GiantMouse first launched the GMF2 fixed blade knife in 2017 with green micarta handle scales. Soon after, the company debuted the GMF2-P with tan micarta handles and the GMF2-FF, which featured a full, flat blade grind instead of a Scandi grind. Now, the company is offering two new versions of the knife: the GMF2-P-G and GMF2-DB.

GiantMouse GMF2-DB is paired with a black leather dangler-style sheath.

New GMF2 Knives Feature Canvas Micarta Handles

The GMF2-P-G features a green canvas micarta handle, while the GMF2-DB is designed with a double black canvas micarta handle.

The handles measure 4.43 inches (112.6mm) long. This gives the GMF2 an overall length of 8.12 inches (206mm).

The GMF2-P-G is designed with a stonewashed PVD-coated blade that is paired with a burgundy leather dangler-style sheath. The GMF2-DB has a satin-finished blade with a black leather dangler-style sheath.

GiantMouse GMF2 is a Great Outdoor Knife

The design of this fixed blade with the help of the micarta handle makes for a knife that is a comfortable companion in your hand. It is a useful all-around knife when you’re out in the field, whether you’re shaving tinder for a campfire, cutting cord or prepping food for the skillet. The knives are designed as a modern take on an old Nordic work blade. Both knives are made with Bohler N690 steel blades that are 3.62 inches (92mm) in length and are 0.157 inches (4mm) thick.
