Knifemaker GiantMouse is continuing its 2022 pop-up shop tour with outdoor apparel giant, Filson. This fall, the GiantMouse team will be traveling to Filson stores across the country to host four weekends packed with great times, exclusive products and opportunities to meet and chat with designers Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes, as well as GiantMouse CEO Jim Wirth. The Pop-up Shop Tour kicked off September 15-18 in New York City at the Filson Manhattan Flagship store. Future stops include Boston, Seattle and Portland, Oregon.

Special GiantMouse / Filson Knives

At each of the four events, GiantMouse will be selling limited edition Filson Brass Clydes. One hundred percent of the proceeds from these special Filson-branded knives will go directly to the National Forest Foundation to support the restoration of the Burley Mountain Fire Lookout. Standing on top of Burley Mountain in Lewis County, Washington, the tower dates back to 1934 and is one of just three remaining fire lookouts in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The Clyde is named after the GiantMouse founders’ old favorite watering hole in Portland, “The Clyde Common,” which was once located at the ACE Hotel in the Pearl district.

In addition to the Filson-Edition Brass Clydes, GiantMouse will be selling knives from their fall catalog, as well as one other special gift for friends who stop in to say hello. About GiantMouse

Founded in 2016, GiantMouse is the brainchild of Danish designers/knifemakers Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes (Vox), along with American entrepreneur Jim Wirth. The company provides innovative, high-quality knife designs at a fair price while remaining closely involved with its community of customers. Jens and Jesper stand behind every knife they make, claiming to only produce knives that they would carry and use themselves.

About Filson

Filson began as an outfitter for the daring pioneers of the 1897 Yukon Gold Rush who abandoned the shelter of society seeking fortune in wild and unforgiving territory. Based in Seattle, Filson’s legacy is one of manufacturing goods engineered for dependability and maximum utility. More than a century after its founding, Filson remains committed to equipping those who courageously blaze new trails and challenge the unknown.
