Ontario RAT-6 Now With S35VN Steel
According to V.P. of Sales and Marketing, David Fenske, “For the new RAT-6, we’ve upgraded the blade steel to tough-as-nails S35VN, while incorporating a 5.5-inch blade with a deep finger choil and a micarta handle.” The deep finger choil and micarta handle provide a secure grip when you want to do detail work. The S35VN steel, rated at 58-60HRC and with a satin finish, provides resistance to wear and chipping while “delivering excellent, long-lasting edge retention.”
The RAT-6 is 100% manufactured in the USA and has an overall length of 12.1-inches. It comes outfitted with a Nylon MOLLE sheath which is perfect for strapping to packs, MOLLE belts, tactical vests, or anything with a MOLLE panel. This knife is excellent for any outdoor task. The RAT-6 retails for $229.95.
