After the first the introduction of the Giantmouse ACE Clyde in 2019, the company is releasing two new versions of the Clyde with aluminum handles. The Clyde originally appeared in green canvas Micarta and in black G10.

The ACE Aluminum Clyde design represents a mix of cultures: Scandinavia meets Japan with a touch of Persia. The knife was named after the team’s favorite watering hole, “The Clyde Common,” located at the ACE Hotel in Portland’s Pearl District. The Aluminum Clyde was made in honor of Clyde’s mom’s 1969 pink tint Air Stream.

This Folder Is Available With Red Or Black Handle

 The ACE Aluminum Clyde is available in red and black aluminum. The Red Aluminum Clyde has a black aluminum backspacer and thumb stud. The Black Aluminum has a red aluminum backspacer and thumb stud. Both knives have liner locks, with the steel liner PTFE coated black. Both styles have satin finished blades of N690 steel that are 3 inches (77mm) in length from the tip to the forward-most aspect of the frame and are 0.118-inch (3mm) thick. The handles of the knives are 3.94 inches (100mm) long. This gives the knife an overall open length of 6.97 inches (177mm).
